Biochar and Gardening
Biochar is the perfect environmental soil improver.
Biochar comes in two forms, pure biochar, and enriched biochar. The differences are outlined below:
Pure biochar for soil health - this is the product in its raw form, produced during the pyrolysis process, it is then cooled and packaged, with nothing added to it. You can enrich it yourself before using by adding it to your compost heap for a few weeks or mixing it with your choice of fertiliser or ready enriched by infusing it with natural, chemical free fertilisers and microbes. This product is ready to be used, straight out of the box, to improve your soil.
For best results soak in water before use to hold moisture in your soil.

We recommend an application rate of 1 part biochar: 9 parts soil.
